Elora Culinary Walking Tour

Welcome to The Elora Mill Inn and Restaurant which is one of Ontario's "Four Grist Mills" dating to the 19th century and the only 5 story one remaining.  Local ingredients are the cornerstone of the  Inn's restuarant's cuisine prepared by Chef Brian MacLeod.  Elora Mill is the proud recipient of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence as well as the VQA Award of Excellence for 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Chef Jacques Dion creates many delectable French crepes at the Cafe Creperie, on the Grand River on Mill Street West in Elora.

The Village Olive Grove is the starting place of the Elora Culinary Walking Tour.  It is located in the historic Mill Street shopping district on the banks of the Grand River in the picturesque village of Elora.  You will sample award winning extra virgin olive oils and vinegars from around the world.  Finally, you will sample one of Mapleton's Organic Ice Cream flavours, now available at The Village Olive Grove.  Located at 8 Mill Street West in Elora.

Sheppard's Pub located in a 175 year old building, is as authentic as it gets.  With three imported and nine local draught beers that change seasonally, there is something for everyone.  Jad Cranford will pour you a sample of MacLean's Ale which is a local micro-brewed beer.  Located at 8 Mill Street West, Jad can be contacted at jadcrf@yahoo.ca.

 Whispers Restaurant, located in the heart of Elora, Ontario, Whispers offers a fresh and regularly updated menu, with a friendly and welcoming ambience which it has always been known for.  Located at 14 Mill Steet East, Elora.

 The Desert Rose Cafe offers a delicious array of vegetarian dishes for lunch and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.  Come and enjoy Resa's charm and hear about her new cookbook which features many of her menu offerings.  Located at 130 Metcalfe Street.
